My Wife's full titanium Brompton clone (ver.2)

I ended up swapping most components, so this is practically a new bike.

Main frame, rear frame, fork, spoke, hinge clamp bolt: Titanium
Handlepost, seatpost, saddle, handlebar, crankset, chainring, rim, handlebar catcher: Carbon fiber
Tensioner, pusher, easy wheel: 3D printed plastic

Current weight: 5.20kg (verified)

It looks new because it is. Most parts are new.
And my wife (and only she) does ride her steeds.

Looks awesome! Interested to hear about the 3D printed parts - this is my first encounter with someone who has done that.

Is there only two gears on this one?

Does it really matter?

He posts spectacular builds of folding bikes and the few who post negative comments sound more jealous than envious.

One again Raxel, the bike is beautiful.

Think he is selling his bikes or services, report it to the moderators but thanks for trying to police this forum. Now that Raxel has replied your baseless accusations it might be time for you to either enjoy looking at his posts or to use the ignore function which I am going to employ right after I post this.

The new photos of the bike are interesting because these are real world snippets vs the beautifully composed shots we see. I guess I relate to this more. Again Raxel thank you for sharing this bike for people who can appreciate the work that went into this build.

I use two 35" 21:9 ultrawide monitors, one 27" monitor and one 160hz gaming monitor in my office. I plan to get samsung's 49" 32:9 one later this year.

I don't think Raxel's services are for sale...though I almost wish they were.

However, Brompton would be wise to buy his services in designing a nicer bike.
I'd much more quickly buy one of his customs than a Brompton "Limited Edition."

After posting my query, did some digging. Here are 2 references about using tvs as computer screens. Cost seems to be the primary motivation.

Beautiful! ...and 5.2kg!!! W00T!

Thor was banned for that if I can remember correctly.

FWIW, all of our dealers seem to be MIA recently.

...using tvs as computer screens.

Off topic: As my father went blind I moved him up to larger and larger screens, eventually using a 52" HD.

You are not using TVs as monitors. I thought they were but you clarified otherwise.

The links I posted are about TVs that work well as computer displays.

Out of curiosity, out of those 5.2kg, how much do the titanium parts (frame + fork + rear triangle + seat post) weigh?

Carbon handlepost: 309gr
Titanium main frame: 1252gr
Titanium fork: 281gr
Titanium rear triangle: 457gr
===================== Total 2299gr

Steel handlepost (RL) : 738gr
Steel main frame : ~2000gr
Steel fork (RL): 550gr
Steel rear triangle(RL): 777gr
===================== Total 4065gr
So carbon+titanium frameset saves roughly 1.8kg compared to full steel one.

Thanks!

Edit: Out of curiosity, do you know how much…
- the whole bike costs in parts
- time you spent putting it together
?

Been wondering the same thing Joe. Anyone have a tisport titanium fork or rear traingle? That might be an indication of their whole bike quality.
