What is your average miles per week (or hours) for us old guys...

Retired, living in the country (foothills of the Rockies) I went out and bought a gravel bike this year for riding. For 2020:
Rides: 105
Distance: Averaging around 20 -25 miles per ride.
Most of the terrain I ride on is hilly; I would have to drive somewhere to find flat ground for any distance.
Went out and bought a indoor trainer and mounted my bike in that so I can keep some condition over the winter.

65 year old male, retired. Starting riding 8 weeks ago after 44 years of consistent running.
Im now averaging about 120 miles a week, my long ride so far has been 50 miles, but plan on working up to my first century ride in October.
Im still a newbee rider, my bike is a All City Space horse, gravel bike……And I go against the trend and dont use clipless pedals. I may eventually switch to clipless, but Im comfortable with my current speed of averaging between 15-17 MPH while wearing my running shoes.

I've ramped up the activity fairly quickly.
Now I'm averaging about 14 hours on the bike per week, with about 8000 calories of energy expended.
Feeling pretty good so far -- it's nice to see the aging body responding to the effort.

Use whatever pedals you want. Stiff soles are good, though.

Currently this year, I'm averaging just under 100 miles per week. The last several years have been slightly over 100. But I'm feeling my age this year.

The heat and wind has been absolutely miserable in north central Tx this year. I've averaged about 75 miles a week so far. Age 73, btw.

70 and been riding a fat tire bike, everyday for at least 5 miles, usually takes me about 35 minutes. All friendly neighborhood street's, many people who know the sound of my bell that I ring. Oh yeah since April 2016, if temp drops below 55 I usually don't ride. Heat doesn't bother me for the short rides I do, if you are moving you don't feel it.

Here are my recent 7 days. A pretty big workload, as I’m training for an event in October.
Moving forward, I’ll be doing 2 hard climbing days a week, with the rest of the days easy/moderate. More vertical, but probably less distance.
Also, I’m 64 years old and not intending to age gracefully.

Building back slowly from a tough 4 yrs... 'slowly' being the key operative.
Spring was tough... last heavy hits of chemo... but now on a hiatus... yeah!
May and June was shoulder dislocation and extreme Food Poisoning - ErythroPathogenic E-Coli, which hit hard until July 4...
rode when I could... walk when I could...
July was way better, and now back ON regular, but much slower than I remember... LOL!
on the bike 6 days a week, trying for 10 hrs, 160-170 mi, depending on amount of climbing vs rouleur.
This past week
154 mi, just about 10 hrs, 11 K climbing, Sunday is now always a load of climbing and group suffering... LOL!
73 seasoned summers (funny, I started life with Baby Powder on my butt, it's now gone down into my shoes... LOL!)

About 150 miles per week with 600’ climbing. Nothing spectacular but I enjoy it. What I really enjoy is getting the fastest Strava segments for my age group. Am not a sprinter but can climb OK

Whoa ... this is an old thread. An update.
I am now a mostly retired stiff, and riding fewer miles a day ... in the order of 20 miles a day. But the 37 miles a day I used to ride was essentially flat, and the 20 miles a day I am riding now includes about 2K feet in climbing. The time involved is about the same in both cases ... about 2 hours.

I'm 64 doing 160 miles a week commuting plus my weekend ride(s) totaling 50 - 150 as I prepare for a SR series.

[QUOTE=IcySwan1;22611222]Average 100 miles per week riding 6 days. 71 years old.
Mike[/QUOTE
A little older and just a few more miles/week on average. But damned close haha!
But I gotta ask, what you are you doing in the winter when I'm still pedaling?

82 years old and getting 3 20 mile rides in a week. I believe I could go farther, but this heat is killing me.

Riding again at 87
After a break of 2 years during the recent Covid thing I have gotten out again on the road as opposed to training in the basement.
Did 69 miles in the past 6 days, longest ride was 26 miles. Great to have my son-in-law as a companion.

I will be 70 on 9/6, 2022 averaging 15.5 miles per day, 9 year avg. of 5100 per year. I had a tough start on the year with health issues. I think I have lost some stamina since last year. I have been doing rides with longer mid ride breaks. My spinal issues and arthritis in my thumbs are affecting my positioning and I have been making some changes. My favorite ride has become my Airborne Zeppelin with V-O Porteur handlebar and 5700 brifters. It allows for a lot of hand positions, and easy access to braking shifting, with little movement. My Poprad has also been switched to the same bar.

Slowing down a bit at 78 YO
Actually, I'm a month short of 78, but I am definitely slowing down. Four or five years ago I was averaging 16/17 MPH on my twice a week 60 mile rides. Today I struggle to average 13/14 MPH on twice a week 40 mile rides. I ride a Catrike Expedition which covers for my balance issues. I ride almost always on relatively flat bike trails in Florida and seem to do my best in temperatures in the 80s and 90s.
