Very nice!

That looks like an early eighties "Cyclo campeur". There is one in 1981 line-up that looks like a close match. The 3-tube Aelle suggests a budget version of the "Ref 201", which came in full Reynolds 531, I believe.

Letters done. They are bumpy on 4 letters totally. Did not change old decals texture it's 40 years old bike and this supposed to be restoration and conservation, not repaint

@Spellscape

Good work, looks great!

One small niggle for me, the billboard graphics on the wheels are way harshing the vibe, I would get out the hair dryer and strip them off.

@Spellscape can you explain about the "varnish" you applied after touch up? Did you use a clear coat paint or an actual varnish such as copal? The end result is wonderful!

At first let me tell you about paint - in catalogue it's advertised as " highly durable baked enamel paint". Maybe it was 40 years ago, but now it's more looking like polyurethane or acrylic modeling paint (yep I use it to paint models). So now I used modeling (Vallejo paint to retouch it) after that because original white was pearl white (with metallic shine) I used metal medium to give it that look https://acrylicosvallejo.com/en/prod...-medium-70521/ . I was perfect and retouching matched almost perfectly.
After that I used polyurethane gloss varnish from spray cans on all frame (anyway it's more hard now than " highly durable baked enamel paint https://www.motip.com/en-en/automoti...ish/clear-coat
After few weeks (acryl need at least week to completely cure) I've used car Turtle Wax ( 2 coats) .

PS before painting I've also used light putty to fill paint scratches (not dents)
