Recommendation's for 28h or 32h hub that will accept areo bladed spokes.

Recommendation's for 28h or 32h hub that will accept areo bladed spokes.
Can't find any hubs in these dimensions that will fit an areo bladed spoke, I don't want to slot a hub but I can if there are no other options. But I would rather have a hub that is already preslotted to accept areo bladed spokes.

I had a ton of trouble finding a slotted hub when building my last wheel set, so I just used a dremel to lengthen the holes myself. I slotted the holes all downwards towards the center of the hub, I can't remember if I read that's how it was manually done back in the day or if that way just seemed best. No issues with the wheels so far a year later. And as they say around this forum, always do what stryper does!

But I would rather not do that if I have the option. It's a lot of work to build the jig and slot each hole. Not to mention the risk of damaging the hub. But again if I have to I will get some formula hubs and do that.

I just think having all those blades together looks a little odd. I'm not knocking it. My eyes are just used to seeing those things with a lower spoke count.

Oh true true. It is totally ridiculous. I got the spokes for $.75 each and just really wanted to do it for no good reason. Totally makes my commuter with a front basket and 33's way faster though

Wow ! That is so neat. No need to run the whole spoke through the hole, just hook it in at the hub. Must make lacing so much easier too. For sure I'm gonna get me some of those suckas for my next wheel build.
