Who else thinks the BoneShaker was peak bicycle ?
Does anyone else feel like bikes have too much gratuitous gadgetry innovation ?
I mean disc brakes are overkill for casual riders. 100 years we didn't need them.
The boneshaker also had a brake – a metal lever that pressed a wooden pad against the rear wheel.
I bet this would be fine for most casual riders !
I declare all technology that came afterwards to be worthless.

We also should have stopped at the model-T. It ran (slowly) it stopped (sorta) lacked all the gadgets and gizmos, was light and would get you where you had to go (eventually), was light weight and fairly fuel efficient.
