DT Swiss hub problem fixed?

Still looking to get a new set of wheels and have tentatively decided on DT Swiss 240 hubs, but.....I am reading about the slippage problem. There was a recall, but has this been solved enough to your satisfaction?

Some of the areas where we ride would be a very long walk back. Maybe I will look at other hub options.
