I'll go for 200 miles this month
4/1: 16.3
YTD: 334.3
I took Matt's suggestion and looked more closely at the angle of the Brooks saddle. I thought I had the nose slightly up, but turns out I didn't. I also realized that the Brooks is a bit taller than the Trek saddle it replaced, so I dropped the seat post about a half-inch. Those adjustments made the bike much more comfortable tonight than it was last night.

Lots of things going on this month (for the rest of the year, really) which will limit the time I can spend riding. I’m going to try to 600 miles.

An unpredicted overcast this afternoon. Felt cooler than what the weather folks said it was.

April Goal: 200 miles - I haven't met any of my monthly goals yet this year, so I'm trying to set myself up for success at 200 miles - in what should be a good weather month.
April 1 - 10.4 miles
April 3 - 4.4 miles - started having some pain early in the ride - didn't want to put myself out of commission - will try again soon!
April to date: 14.8 miles
2022 total to date: 215.0 miles
2022 Goal: 2,200 miles
All my miles are outdoor miles on a 2011 Fuji Absolute 3 (unless otherwise noted) - my backup bike is a 1997 Trek 830.

My goal this month. To get outside even if just for a walk. Getting into cycling clothes seems like way too much trouble. Just getting dressed is challenging enough. Stupid day job is killing my motivation. I did take this afternoon off to watch baseball opening day game. (My team was rained out yesterday). The temperature is over 50, so maybe I'll do it.

Go Sox!
My son and me at Fenway last week. Sorry, no bike in the photo.
