WaWa is cute but no, no chance of comparison.
Actually, the closest thing would be a combination of a very nice Love's and the Blandford rest area on the Masspike. Those rest areas defined what a rest area should be for me, and the move from CT to CO introduced me to "rest areas" that are pull-offs to park in (with maybe a vending machine) and the need to leave the highway for gas and restrooms. Down here in the southwest it's at least usually just a quick hop onto the service road, but just for a junky gas station most of the time. Buc'ees is the exemplar of the ideal.
Most of those "right-sized" (I guess) gas stations also don't have enough off-pump parking, so you wind up being a shower tote one way or the other while you go inside. Terrible all around.

Really? What's wrong with it? The other one on the Masspike I use is Lee, but those are very close together and I just pick one. No other Masspike rest areas on my route between Albany and CT, but those two blow away whatever's available at other parts of the drive.

They redid a bunch of them. Was more joking because Blandford always seems shrouded in clouds and fog. We normally stop in Lee if we need to between here and Marblehead unless it’s an emergency. The rest areas between 84 and Boston are complete ****-shows.

I gotta start paying more attention, I don’t notice which one I’m in on Masspike. I do take more notice on the Joisey Tpk, though.

I dunno guys, I'd have to go with 7 Feathers for my favorite truck stop.
Best dessert case in the business. And for my former life, super cheap smokes!!!
Plus about 10' worth of hotsauce, including this sweet Tabasco endcap

This bridge is crazy. Wonder if it's bicycle-friendly?

One of the nice thing about Buc-ee's is that they do not allow truck rigs on the property. They are not truck stops.

That makes that Crossville station even worse, as like a quarter of traffic on I-40 is trucks.

I've been disappointed last couple of times that I've gone to my fancy grocer, with a big calorie surplus at the end of the day, looking for a slice of cheesecake - they're always out in my time of want! I guess I should be going to truck stops and convenience stores.

What's the word on the current Pinarello Prince? Anybody know anything about them?
