Nice 40 mile ride today. Did 36 miles yesterday. It’s cooling off. Getting time for arm warmers.

Yes it was windy. But here near the cost we don’t have mountains we have wind. I road 43 easy miles today. Including Friday that makes 120 miles. Each one slower.
Sunny day

17 miles today. 53 deg. F, overcast and windy. Just about perfect riding conditions. Had to get back in time to help with something that ended up being postponed. Still, that meant a punchy one hour ride at a pretty good pace (for me, that is.). 😊

No riding in the pacific northWET. You'd need a boat anchor to keep the bike from flying away! But (fingers remain crossed), I did not lose power. But I did run the gauntlet yesterday trying to get my booster shot. Traffic lights completely out and not even blinking. Road to hospital had four sizeable trees down that someone chained saw one lane passage through. Car with tree bashed in front end. And vaccination by cellphone light and flashlight as the hospital (fairly large) was running on generators.

After doing two days of hard Zwifting both 20 miles with 2000’ climbing each day, the weather temporarily cleared and went out an did 15 miles in strong winds. Was absolutely thrashed from Zwift. Tried doing a hill climb and after 200 feet, turned around and headed home, tail between my legs.

40 Miles O.D. 18 MPH head winds that brought some slick debris blasting at the face.

My very standard gray day ride at this time of year. At least it was not raining. Leif would have felt very much at home today - cool, very gray and very windy.

(sigh) - it is getting to be time to figure out where I stashed the electric socks and booties. I tend to need them under 50F and not just the high 30's F.

Old enough, hmmm?
52+ K yesterday, the wind was remarkable ..... up to 40 km/h .
Today it's raining buckets at the valley bottom and snowing big time up at the XC skiing venue.
Saw a big group of our junior skiers out on roller skis the past few days. As I was cycling past I told them to keep the snow dance routine going;

Been off the bike for 2 weeks after my wife had an emergency medical issue, basically living at the hospital. Happy to report 100% recovery and the future is bright to have no further issues. It was nice to get back on the bike today, although could have done without the 15 mph shifting winds. One of the toughest 35 mile rides I have done in a long time. Temps were absolutely perfect, mid 60's and bright blue skies.

The rain finally stopped! 23 miles today.. sunny and about 60 degrees F. Very nice. People on the trails wearing costumes and a costume party at a trail stop/restaurant along the state trail.
