Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Bike Lust v Supply Chain Issues

I put a hefty downpayment on a 2022 Crux Expert last December. I went through one of the higher volume local bikeshops. Here I am in the first week of June and still no projected date for delivery. Who else is experiencing the same thing? If I could find a shop with my size and in the right color I'm sure the LBS would refund my downpayment and I could go ahead and make a purchase.

In October’20 I put a deposit on a custom bike. I’m hoping to get it next month.

Thanks greysquirrel. I saw that, and it is in my size. But it's not the color I want. That bike will be a big chunk of change for me, so I'm going to be picky and get exactly what I want.

I placed an order for an Orbea Orca last Oct. I was given an expected delivery date of March 2023...... I have been riding it since February though lol. They delivered a full year earlier than expected. i have talked to a few others that have orders in, that are not expecting them until late this year. The big bottleneck right now is groupsets. Especially any of the new electronic groupsets.
