Gonna have to hang out here more often.
Foo was my old stomping grounds back in 2006. Had a bunch of BF friends on here and met a few in person for rides or lunch.
Drifted away from Foo because of other areas on here and Foo always self moderated, so no need to come and check to see if everything was smooth.
Some of you don't know me and some of you "might".
We used to have a lot of fun.. we had jsharr s balls (where we sent a foam ball to each other, took pics of it when we took it on trips with us then signed it and sent it to the next person), we had load bearing decals (anyone remember that? lol), we had Pose like Shadiyah where we would go for a ride and embrace our experiences and take a pic of us with our arms in the air), we had Foo Power encouragement threads for people like scottmorrison99 when his wife was sick - man, we thought she wasn't going to make it, but she did! We also had the Soi Dogs started by botto where we all tried to save the dogs that were slated for the meat trade...we had Stacey who shared with us her journey before she passed... we got to see Tom Stormcrowe and his fishing adventures and how he cooked everything he caught sharing recipes and pics - turtle included. ewww... chipcom and his humor.. oh man.. We also had a few people meet here and get married! Those were the days....
We were a tight group.
But some have passed...
Are you guys still like that?
Any of my original Foosters still on here?
Looks like I'll be making more visits here.

I only recognize two of those names, right off. I have to say that I really miss Tom. He sent me frequent messages, was always friendly, and always encouraging. He was a very bright spot on this forum.

It's MY mountain

It was neither as repulsive nor as delicious as I was hoping.
I'm still burping up a flavor of stinky cheese.
$10/pound = $55/durian.
Friend with a Viet Namese family helped me pick it out and eat it.
She ate half a pod, I ate 1.5 pods, put 3 pods in the freezer.
On to the next item in my bucket list.

I remember the "Load-Bearing Decals" thread, Incredible how that took on a life of its own and bamboozled the OP!

Remember when he first joined here, he was KOAS (king of all smileys) because all he did at first was reply with smileys. Then that annoyed me and I told him he needed to stop that because he was getting on everyone's nerve lol After that he engaged more.

Some of the old codgers left (some after running home with their ball and possibly later returning under a different moniker) still can't seem to forgive him for breaking up their KaffeeKlatch party.

But maybe that's because I have trouble differentiating in my head between many groups of BF users, and as far as I can tell, you and ahsposo are the same 'person'

... ahsposo self identifies as a man, living on the other coast of America. Otherwise, they are pretty close.

I've never heard of those 'singers' before, but I gotta say, they both really suck

FYI John Prine wrote the song "Donald and Lydia", which is the definitive American love ballad from the Vietnam era.
...like I can keep me straight in my head.
