Ueda bike trail, N. Sacramento
I posted about this a year ago. The Ueda bike trail is on top of the West levee of Steelhead Creek. They rebuilt the levee and are now finished. The trail is now gravel, not paved. So good for mountain bikes. It runs from the Arden connector (get on it near Northgate Blvd.) north to Elkhorn Blvd. and beyond. Unfortunately I have a trike. Too bad! I'll post a picture If I can figure out how to do it.

Well, that sucks. That was one of my places to do interval workouts on my road bike. I guess I'll need to bring my CX bike now.

Ueda Bike trail update, June 2021
It's virtually unusable for several reasons. The gravel is very loose. Unless you really like loose gravel for mnt biking, stay away. In addition, the south end, near Arden Way, is infested (more so than expected) with dogs, bums, and garbage. Very unpleasant.
