Let's make it perfect.

This is my bike , assembled almost piece by piece since as starting point i only got the frame and the derailleurs.
I assembled pretty quickly for partecipating the eroica last year (but the bike has been the same even after the eroica because i had to cancel my partecipation).
We have one more year since the new eroica (hopefully whitout covid) i want to upgrade a bit and make it way more cool.

Little works already done (not shown in the video):
  • -Cleared and polished some parts.
  • -Removed the laces holding the pump and used a clamp (not a proper clamp but looks better).
  • -Maked pedals looks better https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...ep-remake.html
  • -Removed the yelloish from the saddle (and used the leather dye too)
  • -Removed leather laces and used a clamp as pump-holder.
  • -Added more details
Other Planned:
  • -Find some suitable brake hoods
  • -Clothe the handlebar same as this:
I need again your advices ,
  1. what kind of modification you will make into this bike?
  2. wich part are you going to replace?
  3. wich brake levers are more suitable for the bike? (saccon or universal mod.61 , both brakes has been cleared and polished as much i can. Also the universal have been engraved with a fake drillium effect)

Well it's a pretty cool bike to begin with. I would clean and grease it. See what needs replacing chain cables etc and then ride it. See how you get on.
