The blade bike is a bad idea but we watched anyways , people don't know that was a bad idea watched it. The guy who post the video had a very significant increase of stats related to his account and sometimes they ear a lot of money by doing it. Approximately a guy with 2,4M subscribe can get only from youtube around 4-6K$+external sponsorship. Nowdays is more trend to make views with stupid stuff than sharing good information and ideas.

Did anyone else wince when he destroyed a perfectly good set of wheels, considering how tight bike parts are getting?

Remove the front "wheel", mount the fork to a mount that allows it to pivot up and down, then place a log under the rear blade/wheel and start cutting. Great alternative to boring trainers, and you get some work done at the same time.
