Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good on bikes right now.

Shopping golf clubs. Used to play 4 to 5 days a week until I quit 20 years ago due to kids and stuff. It was about that time we bought our first boat. Might get back into it as a social sport with other old guys.

An old Icelander once told me yacht racing was just golf on the water.

I was a better golfer than race boat driver.

I have plenty of friends who would welcome me to crew during club races and regattas, and some that would even let me borrow their boats. I’ll be okay. 😉

That’s what I thought. Till I heard that he survived. Now we’ll have to support him for 10-20 years.

I gave up with the comments on daily mail or really anywhere along time ago. Comments remind me that the human race is doomed.

Remember how the Lotus Classique came with a mismatched NDS crankarm? Well, after narrowly avoiding paying north of $100 for a full crankset that would have arrived in mid August, I was able to get a full Arabesque crankset from seypat after posting a WTB on the C&V marketplace.

Which left me with an extra half an Arabesque crankset. Which bothered me, the incompleteness of it. So I thought, "I should keep my eyes open for a NDS Arabesque crank arm in 170". So, I search Ebay, under 'Bicycle Cranksets', with just "Arabesque" as a query. Bingo! Got one!

Now I'll have a complete Arabesque crankset that I can sell, or keep in case I ever want to use it. Hmmm. Maybe I should build a whole bike around it.......
