The Importance Of Self-Importance

Self-importance, pomposity, arrogance - call it what you will, but threads would be shorter without it.

Discuss.

If all these losers would just listen and agree with everything I say, the threads could be shorter. 😊

Self-importance is the most easily worn and stained part in cycling, and it is also the most tangled and troublesome part for riders. It is completely exposed during riding, and riding in a variety of environments will be directly affected by the environment.

This. Look no further than the most popular thread in the road forum. It's all about self importance, among other things.

As important as I know I am to all of you, I don’t need feelings of self-importance.

Is the bike you ride a direct reflection of your self-importance?

Or lack thereof if you’re still on mechanical drive trains or getting your liquor at the drive thru dumpster station.

But what about if you select the kit you wear to match the bike you're riding? Or if you just use the word 'kit'?

+1 self-importance point for either. If you wear the kit while using the word kit, there's a 10% bonus, netting a total of +2.2 SIP.

Cyclists who refuse to carry spare tubes and expect others to bail them out in an emergency have an exaggerated sense of self importance.

Since my bike is blue and black, it’s kind of hard for my kit not to match. Everything goes with black and blue.

Except brown shorts, and I won’t go there.

Isnt carrying two tubes just a sign of insecurity?

...self importance is on the third floor, over next to the men's department. If you take the escalator, turn right when you get off on three, then look for the display of socks and underwear. It's right next to that.

But if you did, in fact, go there, they'd disguise it.
