Our race last weekend had a holeshot line in the first turn. The first one to the line won a pie.
This resulted in one of the faster Masters race starts I've seen all season:

Went to the Virginia Cyclocross series to spectate and each my lunch. It was the womens race so I took a few pictures to inspire my 2 year old granddaughter. My first time seeing live. Cold and windy and a little damp. I guess perfect for cyclocross. Tomorrow is the state championship. Took a few pictures today. Saw this inactive thread and thought I post a few.

Took my kid to the race in Queens, didn't get to watch him race since we were on the course at the same time. We had a good time but the cat 5s are still fast and I'm slow but at least I wasn't last.
