Custom aerobar "dashboard": any interest

I've been thinking about the problem of mounting multiple accessories葉wo headlights, a phone or computer, a satellite tracker, maybe a water bottle葉o aerobars. I've been noodling around with a design for a mounting plate that would be clamped/strapped between the bars, CNC cut with a bunch of suitable mounting holes for Gopro mounts, Garmin mounts, etc (XLab has something that's a little like what I have in mind, but really just meant for a water bottle and one gadget).

I'll probably polish up my design and have it produced. Would there be any interest in a small batch order?

I've mostly seen others use pvc between the aerobars, if that is what you mean? Ultra racers (Tour Divide, etc) may very well be interested in something like this.

Yeah, I've seen that too. What I'm talking about is a plate about 100 mm square, with a bunch of mounting holes, clamped to the aerobars at 4 corners.

I try to avoid having my bikes look like Captain Dashboard -- running out of handlebar space helps with that. Kinda.

YMMV!

Please post an example pic of it mounted to aerobars with one or two devices attached?

It doesn't exist yet, so that may take a while.

Update on this: I have received and used prototype #1.
I've written about it here: https://8stars.org/a/2023/02/27/acce...-for-aerobars/
And I'm soliciting interest in producing a small batch here: https://wildcard.bike/wildcard-deck-interest-form/

I think the people at send cut send look at my library of designs and wonder why I never order any of them
