It's the jersey's that bother me. I've a 44-45 inch chest (genetics) so need to get at least xxl's. Fit like a parachute around the waist and long enough to catch on the seat. I've given up.

Same here. At 6'1, I have a 52 inch chest. I have to get 4x -5x to fit my upper body but so long that if I have something in m rear pocket, the jersey can drop over my butt. I did a climbing event and got a 5 mtn pass finisher's jersey. Biggest they had was a 2XL. I can get it the full zipper up around my torso but once I hit my chest, the zipper will rip if I try to go above. Darn little climber guys.

I have a fair bit of Voler gear and 20.5" quads. Mediums fit me fine. It's good gear for the price.

Baggies/club fit for me. Plain T if errand bike with pannier. In my case it's a hobby, not a sport, I'm not going to fret over micro losses in aero efficiency. I rarely look at the models. I typically by blind based on past experience, if it works I ride that horse it until no longer offered. My bigger annoyance with clothing at large is trends change way to quickly. It seems there would be some value in catering to loyal followers rather than changing so I go to brand B, who changes so I go to brand C, who changes so I go to brand D. Maybe I'm a rarity in finding something I like and wanting to repurchase same forever as old wears. Just the right shoes not being available the next or second year is the worst. All things being near equal I buy the thing with the smallest, least noticeable logo. No logo is golden.

Im the opposite. Im sure id be called "Thick" if I wasnt male, lol. No chicken legs here, quite the opposite, but nothing fits anyway as everything seem to be designed with a slim 19 BMI in mind. Im at BMI 27 (!) and Im not that fat. I just Work for a living a seem to pile on the pounds lately. Result, - if I can even manage to get it the legs and arms are Way long.
