Anyone willing to loan out a Maillard/Normandy freewheel tool?

I need to pull the freewheel from my '74 Raleigh Super Tourer, so I can do a proper hub repack. I just tried visiting my co-op, but found their community open shop is still closed for covid. While the manager offered to remove it, I became nervous at her handing me the quick release before starting to take the wheel. I know the larger diameter and splines should making "camming out" less likely than a 2 prong Suntour, I'd still use a QR to hold the tool in place when I do it.

By any chance would any BFer be willing to *rent* out their tool for a few dollars or anyone in the Puget Sound area want a visit?

If you put an ad on CL in Seattle I'm sure one would pop up very cheap and close to home. Also use Tempest Craigslist" or similar and check bike parts in neighboring cities for fw tools. Just accept that sellers often have no clue what they have and will offer awkward descriptions if they don't know what they have.

There was a fellow had all kinds of old fw tools recently and might still have some. Can't recall which city he was in but it was (I believe) in Seattle. Another seller had actual piles of 80's Rds and Fds for super cheap, might be same guy. He was going to email me about buying several sets "when he had time" but can't reach him now.
I'd help you but as said above, shipping costs would be the killer and worse as I'm in Canada. I asked today about a small tool selling for $10 in Vancouver and shipping to me was $23.

That tool shouldn't cam out of the freewheel if it's in a bench vise with the wheel pushed down onto it, so no worries at all about that.

If it was purposefully made to cam out during removal, I don't think that it could even be damaged that way, given the huge contact area offered by this type of tool.

In other words, I would have done exactly as she did, assuming that a solid vise was at hand.
But, for use with my 18" adjustable wrench, yes I would have QR'd it on there!
