That's a real nice early BMX not many examples of these sold. Based on parts value and what similar high end US stuff is going for I would guess 1000 or so CAD but it will likely take a while to sell and you may need to be willing to ship or part it out to get full value. This really isn't a BMX forum you can likely get better info and maybe find a buyer at https://bmxmuseum.com/ .

A bit of ebay digging shows that just the frame/fork have sold ranging between $700-1200. Hutch Pro Racer Frame
A complete bike isn't showing up on ebay and may be a hard sell due to the high cost (some complete bikes of different brands showing in the 1,500 range)
parting the bike out would probably be easier to sell off as almost every part sells for $100+ but it would be a huge shame to part out such a perfect specimen

I was figuring the 1000 would be a as is were is CAD price. I do agree one could get a lot more parting it out with shipping or an international sale, ebay or paypal along with current taxes on sales in Canada and US with fees figure 40% so with a lot of work you could get 1500 maybe bit more net the market has just gotten a lot tougher online and shipping is just a hard BITA. I do agree that it would be just a huge shame to part this Museum level bike out I would say start looking for buyers locally in with a starting price of 1200 you just may find that right buyer. You seem to be on the right track on selling this one hope it finds a good home intact, from a guy that road BMX back in the 80's this is a near grail level bike and one of the best looking BMX bikes of the 80's. no gussets and very lean clean welds brazing with nice finish.

40 years ago I would not have guessed that it would have been the BMX kids with all the cash to spend on cool old stuff.

Complete bike on ebay probably $4,000 to $6,000 US. BMX is where the money is right now.

One thing about collectibles is that they are rarely a long term investment. Stuff can be HOT and then go out of fashion. Right now, BMX is HOT.

You will likely need a marketplace like ebay to get access to the buyers that will pay that kind of price. And assumes you have experience selling on ebay with spotless feedback.

It’s a generation thing, guys from the 80’s couldn’t afford them when they were 14. But now the can and prices are way up for now. That bike was expensive then, I had a couple Hutch Trickstars that were $1,000+. If it were mine I’d ask $5000 and not go lower than $4,000.
