Show us your C&V component display inside the house
Lets have some pictures of your display of C&V patrs inside your living area. In a case, on the mantlepice, beside the bed... anywhere but not in your garage or workshop.

I don’t have parts displays in the house— they just happen to still be lying in the same spot I left them six months ago when I walked to/from the garage for who knows what reason. Anyhoo, what was the question?

It's not a permanent display (and in fact had to be removed before Mrs. K noticed), but here's a shot of some Campy hubs on my wife's sewing cabinet.

I used to have a few items out but outgrew the space and have had to clean up my act! But maybe I need to bring back a couple of RDs, delta brakes, etc to show off.

the closest I've gotten is to use an old oil lamp as a night light on a shelf. I've installed a white LED in it, and have the power controlled by a timer.
Here's a shot of it with the LED powered...

I've looked at the piles of cogs, chainrings, chains, etc., and wondered what could be created with it. The first thought was to make a clockwork with it, but that seems like a ton of work (especially without any metal working skills).

I inherited one of my Mom's curio cabinets - still has some of her things in it but I doubt she'd approve of some of my modifications and additions...

Thanks. I built it out of pallets and pallet wood, with antique casters. Briwaxed it.

I try not to accumulate too many tchotchkes but despite my best efforts isn't working. I don't really have a parts/components display per say (Yeah I don't think that belongs there either but it will drive all you P.O.E.M. members crazy) but there are plenty of Campanutella goodies on display

This moves around.... sometimes it's on the dining table, sometimes in the corner, if I don't have anything 'in process' it gets stored away, but there's almost always something in process...

Then there's this- far too hilly where I now live to be usable, so (for now) it's an ornament.

I have 2 derailleurs sitting on a bookshelf that I haven't taken downstairs yet- does that count?

I think a pair of Campagnolo delta brakes arranged "just so" on the coffee table would win over over the most reluctant wife. Especially if she knew how much she could cash them in for...!

I ran this up the flag pole to see how it would fly. My wife didn't like it and I thought maybe that is because it wasn't finished.

She didn't like the finished bike either. I don't know what her problem is so it hangs in the garage now,

Maybe the chrome and pearl wasn't good for over the fireplace in the living room. But it was perfect for the glass and chrome in the front room. She is just being difficult.

I think the issue is the blocky "Raleigh" serif lettering on the frame clashes with the home sweet home sign above the mantle piece.
