Can anyone tell me a bit about this bike? I'm looking at one and am curious as to the pro's and con's of this bike.
Thank you.

Its a burgandy 2001 model. It needs a wheel set and rear derailer.
I'm mainly curious of the quality of the bike.

I am not sure how good the frames are on the older Yukons, however, I have a 09 Rincon and the Rincon and the Yukon were pretty much the same frame, and I love mine. They are just a basic XC HT frame. How much is the frame going for? I go my frame for $70 which for being a pretty much brand new 09, I though was a decent deal. Since the frame you are looking at is 10 years old, and was only a $400 bike to begin with, I wouldn't spend over $60 for the everything. Here is the bike on bikepedia.

I think whether this is worth it would definitely depend on how much it is and your area. The wheelset and RD are pretty much the two parts that are going to be most expensive to replace, and as dsprehe89 said, it was only a $400 bike 10 years ago.
But as for just pros and cons, I'd say pros are that it should make for a perfectly decent and capable MTB for cheap due to the age, but that it is a decent platform to build on. As for cons, I'd say if it's still got the stock fork, it's kind of in the con category. It wasn't great to begin with, and now it's 10yrs old. Who knows how worn it is or if it's been serviced. If it's cheap, though, and it fits your needs, I'd think it's probably worth it.
(But I'm a MTB newb and don't really know all that much.)
