Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good thing because I don't think there's a lot of upside for him as a professional influencer/vlogger.

They actually had a land line for me to use to call tech support, which I did nearly every day.
The worst thing about cell phones to me is what they do to people. Mrs John even brings hers to a restaurant sometimes, it makes it like eating alone for me.
The thing I love about cell phones is that it maps a number to a person. A land line maps a number to a location. Generally, when I dial a number, I'm hoping to connect to a person, not a location.

What they do to people... when I got my first iPhone (3Gs), notifications weren't really a thing. Other than texts or calls, it sat silently until I went to check on it. Then push notifications got big, and somehow people got to feeling they had to immediately know of every tweet, every like, every DM, and everything else I'm too unplugged to even know. Then their phones ping, and they have to check, and they're too FOMOlicious to just turn it all off.

However, much of the time AG and I are out (and her family), out come the phones. To a great degree, I support that - we spend the rest of all time together anyway, so we're not missing much quality time in a restaurant. Past that, I've always hated talking with meals - it just encourages people to talk with their mouths open.

Frequently I see couples at a table and they are each glued to their devices. We used to go out to lunch once a week when I was working, 6 to 10 guys. It was a fun thing and we invited a guy who was phone obsessed one time. We had to shake him when the waitress came to take orders. We didn't invite him again.

I got caught between "chew with their mouths open" and "talk with their mouths full", of course.

In February of 2014, we painted the house together. He could have paid to have it done, but he wasn't gonna have any of that.

My dad died in 1994 @69 years old. I'm 3 years away from that. My grandfather and one uncle only made it to 54, my oldest brother died @60.
My mother's side had longevity.

Considering a refurb Stages L crank PM. It would be strictly for relative measurement, especially because my left quad is still an inch smaller than the right from an old L3 root injury.

How wrong can I go for for 250?

Christ on crutches. Half-assed junky powermeter will just piss you off. Get the Assiamo pedals when it's time. Of course, there is a manufacture delay from Clever Training, but there are others.
