Pendant crane training today. 2 buttons. The top one is actually marked "up" the bottom one is labeled ........wait for it....."down". Saves on confusion I guess. In what corner of hell do you suppose the button to lift would have any business being on the bottom of the controller?
I can't imagine what the training is going to be like...
or better yet the accident that caused management to come up with a training program.....I might actually be to smart for this place......

Staph aureus enterotoxin is heat stable, but refrigeration prevents it. Botulinum toxin, on the other hand, which is the big danger in canned goods, is easily destroyed by heating.

In Belize we heated leftovers to boiling for a few minutes every 12 hours. Tropical and no refrigeration. Of course we weren't eating that fancy schmancy food. Mostly beans and rice and vegies.

I was born just outside of the city so my teenage mother's pregnancy could be kept as much of a secret as possible. But I was raised in W. Philly. In fact, I grew up about 12 blocks from Will Smith's home. And I have mentioned before, one of the "Whass Up?" guys from the Bud commercials lived very close to me and was a childhood/adolescent friend of mine.

Yesterday we cut our ride a bit short and changed the route because of unexpected wind. Turned out to be a fun ride until the last 8 miles which was straight into the wind. Last night the house was shaking again from strong winds and it was predicted to continue today, but it looks like it might have calmed down enough to venture out.
