What’s the difference between men’s bikes and women’s
I noticed some mountain bikes are xtra small small medium are those bikes mainly for women or short guys too and men’s sizes go small medium , large and extra large ??

Generally speaking the few manufacturers that make a specific bike for women will have different frame geometery as women tend to have shorter arms for their height. Brakes can be different, especially on road bikes, to allow for smaller hands and this is quite important. They will come with a wider saddle to fit the pelvis of a woman which is nice as it means the bike is ready to ride without having to toss out a man's saddle. Check out Scott's Contessa line of bicycles for women.

In my experience, women's are expensive and much more complicated than men's.

When I ride it it’s not much different than the larger men’s bike of the same name except when you stop it’s noticeable of course taller

Women's specific mountain bike is just marketing fluff to try and target a market. It more or less failed. Take note that most of the major manufactures don't have or eliminated women's mountain bikes from the lineup. I haven't looked lately but the only two I know of left doing it are Liv (Giant) and Juliana (Santa Cruz)

Bikes are all about fit. If it doesn't fit it isn't the right bike for you regardless of gender constructs. It doesn't matter what organs you have betwixt your legs or what gender or lack thereof you chose because in the end it all comes down to fit. Test ride some bikes and find one that fits if it is marketed towards women, cool, if it is marketed towards men, cool, if it is just "unisex", cool none of that matters. If you are comfortable on the bike because it fits you well that is it.
I will say though Terry bicycles were quite cool and a bit revolutionary because Georgena did address smaller riders especially those who were female, as that market hadn't really been properly served and she made some cool bikes. So it is not a completely unneeded thing but these days especially with things like Retül and other fitters and all of this data we have we can use that to build bicycles to fit a wider range of bodies and focus more on fit.
