Rear panniers for a mountain bike frame
Hi all,
Which rear pannier would you recommend to me for a mountain bike frame as there are no holes for any additional bolt in the rear stays.
The frame is 2007 Rocky Mountain Vertex 10. No other holes in the frame too to connect panniers. I was thinking of something which could connect by clamp at the seat post but need to have connection points at the seat stays too, probably clamps too, as it will have to carry load heavier than 5kg. Those panniers up to 5kg loading capacity are connected at the seat post only and are meant for lighter bags.
Could you please suggest some design as I could't find any so far.

I think a saddle bag fits more stuff and is more practical but You can also opt for the bikepacking seat butt rocket bag. My friend replaced his revelate with a new large apidura bag and that thing is massive. He fits a lot of stuff in there: https://www.modernbike.com/product-2...BoCFbcQAvD_BwE
Of the mainstream bag producers, I think Apidura made incremental tweaks and improvements to their products that push it slightly above the others. The straps seem better thought out, the seat attachment is easier to take off and put on, the material seems more bombproof...similar to the black hole bags from Patagonia.

PedalingWalrus, that bag looks really nice and is certainly one of the options.
Trevtassie this is exactly what I was having somewhere in the back of my head but could't find it. Seems like a really good idea and solution that would suit my needs.

Thule Pack and Peddle
Have you seen this rack? It attaches with nylon straps that rachet to the frame. It'll fit as long as your tires aren't overly wide.

Another option but maybe too expensive is the Tubus Disco rear carrier which uses your quick release. Pretty much bomb-proof racks in my experience. You would also need the clamp set to mount it to the rear stays.

Depending on how much capacity you need I would give @PedalingWalrus's suggestion of a saddle bag serious consideration. This is what I use on my fatbike and whilst I have a rack as well it only gets used when I need to load up with water.
