I live in or close enough to Detroit MI. I work at a gas utility Co. that I won't name. I work in the Pressure dept. as Tool Man (insert off color joke here, ). But when I want o.t. I have to go back in the field and perform regular maintenance work.

Just spent several hours emptying out the kitchen cabinets because the spouse wants to have them painted. They are already a perfectly acceptable shade of brown. Can't wait till I get to put it all back in.

Then they were still using Mitsubishi engines and I think that one is carbureted. (barf). My ex bought one of the injected ones new in 1990 for $6k. Other than routine maintenance the only thing I ever did to it was an alternator and rebuilt the clutch slave cylinder. Sold it to a guy at work with 100k miles and last I heard he had it up to 140k miles with no repairs.
* Not my actual car, but this is how it looked

I worked at a GMC dealer in 1993 and I bought a new full-size pick up for $11.500.

Leads one to wonder who, in fact, is actually the LSS.

Status Update: I have all the flows down for the 737.
That took longer than it should.

We tend to lean toward a more contemporary style, but our house is pretty traditional. So we go more with abstract art, and for the most part all original. It's either something we found on trips, or local artists. None of it was very expensive.
We have two by the artist you find interesting.
Couple other things from local artists that you'll find "interesting" -
