Safe to wear AfterShokz?
My local bike store is selling these, https://aftershokz.com/us/products/aeropex. Is this safe to wear while riding a bike? How can you hear the cars driving pass or cyclists behind you?

For maximum safety, don't wear anything which reduces your ability to hear.
I am amazed when people play music so loud they can't hear anything coming.
If you are only involved in one accident, it is one too many.
But then it depends where you are riding. If you are on an isolated track, and there are no other people around, it is not such a big issue.

These are pretty good but I had a problem. The vibration on my jawbone cause a tooth to start coming out of the gum. That was over a year ago and the tooth still has not completely recovered. I would not recommend using any headset while biking.

Teeth are fixed into ones head so tightly that it takes the dental equivalent of a jackhammer to get them out. I DOUBT that bone conduction headphones could loosen healthy teeth. In any case, I don't like the sensation of my Aftershokz being even slightly too loud so my teeth are perfectly safe. I use mine only to hear my GPS. It's only talking when a turn is coming up.

I don't like the idea of using headphones will riding, since it's already hard enough to hear vehicles coming up behind me. But these open ear bone conduction headphones might be OK since they leave your ears open. Never used them so can't comment on how safe they will be.
