looks like stamped dropouts.... so lower mid range, though that is not to say it could not be made to be a great fun, well shifting bike. $90 is pushing it though, if you can wait I would.

Around here, that bike in ready to ride condition would bring about $150. Depends on your local market. Mixtes sell at a premium over the equivalent model bike.

Hi SingeDebile -
Miyatas are very easy to sell - especially clean ones in ready to ride condition.
I would expect to net $140-150 even around here.

The only problem is that you already posted it on CL at $90: So at the least, you should take down the ad for a little while, and contact those who contacted you, explaining to them that you only learned your price was far too low when you got inundated with e-mails.
Most (but not necessarily all) will be appreciative and understanding...

- but if you simply jack the price, MOST will resent it, and some will vent on you, by posting nasties on CL.

If you put it up for $90, sell it for $90.

If you want to auction it off, put it on eBay or alter your ad to say "I wanted $90, but now I want you buyers to bid against each other."

In this area, you'd get a buyer, but not many. Raleigh is not a mixte fan area.

If you held out for a higher offer, you'd find yourself getting slammed on CL with listings warning people not to trust you on the price, condition, components.

Other than that, maybe $100 here, but most mixtes go for $50-$75. Since it's a Miyata, it would go for more because of parts interchangeability. i.e. it's not French.

I vote for just selling it for $90 and being done with it.

But, if you are going to reprice your bike, take down your CL ad.

As of right now, it is still up.

BTW, I found a newer Miyata mixte, newer and nicer than yours, a year ago for less than your $90.
