Pirelli releases two new TLR tires

Pirelli now has 3 TLR road tires. The Cinturato, the Race and the Race SL.
The two new tires are ETRTO compliant, hookless compatible and true to size on 19c rims.
What’s odd is that Pirelli’s recommended pressures are quite high. Maybe 10-15psi higher than “mainstream”.
At $80 msrp, probably not going to give these a shot anytime soon. Anyone interested?

Yeah, I posted about them in another thread a little earlier. I'm definitely interested, assuming that the retail price sees the typical street price drop. I'm more likely to try the regular TLRs vs the SLs. And yeah, I noticed the higher pressures, too. The funny thing is that a Pirelli rep on a YouTube video kept mentioning 5bar being more than adequate, though this was in relation to hookless (I have 303S wheels, so hookless compatibility is a must), so I don't know if they're just being conservative or what.

Can't wait for bicyclerollingresistance.com to measure these, I'd be very interested in the 28mm TLRs if they have reasonable puncture resistance and the sidewalls aren't overly flimsy. For me personally, GP5000TL territory would be perfect, and I'd try a set of TLR's since the GP5000TL's can't be found in stock anywhere in 28mm. But if they're really a race tire I suspect they will be a whole lot more puncture prone than GP5000TL's.
