What part(s) of the transaction do you need done?
Is the seller willing to pack and ship? If so, check out payment through PayPal. I have purchased from Europe and had payment held in an escrow type account until I received product. I don't know the details, but I know they do this all the time with eBay. You may have to call their customer service to find out how.
Good luck.

The listing is more of a craigslist style service, designed for people to meet in person.
While I can read and write french fairly... manageably, I would not be able to speak over the phone and previous attempts to 3-mail sellers always go ignored.
Unfortuantely the bike is about 100mi from prettyshady and I couldn't ask such a large favor of a person.
An alternative may be calling an LBS near the seller and paying them to pack and ship, but again my french fluency is lacking.
Does anyone have experience trying to deal with foreign bike shops or would they have to pay export fees as if it were a new bike?
