Need Warm Jacket

Even though I live in South Texas it can get cold. After a balmy December it was 30 degrees yesterday when I rode. I wore my new GoreWear Tempest Jacket which is thermal and breaks the wind. Unfortunately they designed the back pockets too high so it was challenging trying to get stuff out of them. I paid $183 for it which would have been fine if not for the pockets. I can't return it because I have worn it. So I am looking for suggestions for another warm cycling jacket. Any ideas? Thanks

Maybe keep the jacket and layer up underneath it?

I'm in Atlanta and my light Gore-Tex, plus even a thin Danskin and a light safety vest, get me down to freezing. But, if you want another jacket at reasonable costs, eBay Gore-Tex in the search engine. Just got a lightly used (slightly warmer) jacket for $20. Maybe the pockets on different versions are better placed?

I was gonna suggest that too, but then re-read his post. I think he wants another w/ better (normal?) pockets. so maybe a non-cycling jacket?

Thank you. Looks like they only have a large. I'll keep an eye on poshmark.
