Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need help identifying a 700c rim

Hello all!

Its been a while since I visited this site but I'm glad I remembered it now. I was sold a wheelset through Kijiji that supposedly had Mavic Open Pro rims. I checked today to see what serial number they had to try and sell them and I'm now sure they're not Open Pros. If anyone can suggest a place to search for them I would greatly appreciate it. There's a UPC code on the wheels and the numbers M12318 12681371 . Thanks in advance!

Its a Syncros hub with butted spokes. I've checked the Mavic, DT Swiss, Syncros and Ritchey sites with no luck. I tried to find out info about manufacturers for Ritchey and Scott but wasn't able to find anything. Now to see if I can send this...

Could it be a Sun ME14a or Ambrosio Excellight? I recall those looking very much like the Open Pro.

Could you post useful photos not just in the rim but the outside?

Those double eyelets sure look like Mavic Open Pro rims.

You didn't specify. Your fault.
