Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

TIME Bikes new pink color

I decided a while back that I'd get the Time Alpe d'Huez once they redesigned and was set on red but the pink looks stellar.

Looks great, but I prefer neutral frame colours so they don't risk clashing with whatever jersey I'm wearing. I have several jerseys that would not look good against that pink frame. Just something to consider.

Time is my hands down favorite bike!

IMHO, to cover that awesome carbon fiber work with any paint is a sin!! Red is less of a sin. Pink... NOPE!!!

Ferrari = RED. Time = Raw Carbon. This is not negotiable!!!!!

Wait a while. Instead of a decal that says "Fabrique en Europe" it will say "Made in USA" - right here in Upstate SC!

I like it... it not the normal bright pink color bike companies like to use. That has a nice blend of the purple in it.

I love that pink... but for my ADHX, I went with raw carbon. Not as exciting from afar, but looks amazing close up...

Both of the examples shown in the original post look great. I think pink might be an acquired taste. I was once tempted by a closeout priced pink Salsa Warbird frame.

Yeah thats a helluva nice color. Time bikes also just look good- the lines consistently work.
The opposite of that is Pinarello where some joints look like tubes were just jammed together, and they saved money by buying forks that were warped due to sitting in a trailer in the summer heat too long.

I’d ride it. When I was looking for a color for my Engin I had the applicator do a test tube in pink. It came out too much like bubble gum.

My quiver is missing a pink bike. The kanzo I dream about building, is a pink fade to black. It’s a hot pink though, this would look even better.

That so-called "Fuchsia" (EA34F6) is pretty darn close to real magenta (FF00FF). That so-called "Magenta" (EA338E) is not even close to magenta.

On the interwebs, Fuchsia and Magenta are identical colors. So, except for those hinky color swatches, everyone is correct.

Beautiful color regardless of the shade! My 1992 DeRosa is full on pink, was a pretty hot shade when I first bought the frame and fork, it’s faded a ton but I love the color it’s turned into as well.

When I went to see it in person (local shop doing s build) I would put it as whatever color t-mobile uses. Almost a perfect match which differs a bit from the photos.

Both those bikes look pretty good to my eye. I think the pink is quite original.
