Welp, SBT GRVL is canceled now
So now I got nothing for this year - first DK now SBT - what a sucky year this is going to be.

Welp look at the bright side. Next year all these events are going to be massive because people are out riding more right now.

My major race for the year was postponed 'til October, but I bailed anyway. I doubt they'll even be allowed to hold it then, and - if they are allowed to do it - I don't want to be on a starting line with hundreds of other riders, and then out on a course with people panting, spitting, etc. Things may be allowed to happen, but that won't necessarily make them safe.

And naturally, I'm in my best shape of the last 12 years, even though I'm now pushing 60 yrs old. That's a consequence of not going to work for the past two months, and hence having the time to ride huge miles. It'd be nice to capitalize on the fitness, but not worth the risk. ("Yep, he died of Covid-19, but hey - he did come in 122nd in a big bike race! Living the dream!")
