Stages Left Power Meter ADC Value Changes
I just picked up a Stages Left Power Meter. I zero' cal'ed it off the bike to check that value and received an 882. Right after installation though, the ADC value changed to 843. That feels like a huge change.
Has anyone had their calibration value change significantly after installing the left crank?

Why even check it when it's not installed? 843 is within the expected range - just ride it.

When you checked it off the bike, did you suspend it vertical with the pedal attached?
Zero cal has to be vertical and the weight of a pedal may slightly change the number.

A little off topic but here you go....
Last week my coach queried the power readings of my Stages R8000 dual and my Wahoo Kickr Bike.
(Note: the Wahoo Kickr BIKE, not a Kickr Trainer you attach a bike to).
Coach thought the Stages vs Kickr Bike numbers might be different and cause issue when comparing indoor/outdoor rides.
So, I borrowed a pair of Garmin Vector 3 pedals (dual).
I attached the pedals to the Road bike and compared Stages to Vector 3.
I attached the pedals to the Wahoo Kickr Bike and compared Kickr Bike internal power meter to Vector 3.
Across the range of powers I tested at, the Stages and Kickr were within ~1W or each other and the Vector 3 read about 2-3W higher.
I count that as a win, and well within the published margin of error for the devices.
He who has a watch knows the time, he who has two watches is never sure.
Well, I'm a lot more sure now.
