No Leaders Jersey offered? Make your own and race in it. This weekend's SoCal race.
A few of my friends finshed up the Cyclo Vets Omnium (3 days- TT, RR, Crit) this weekend in San Diego. A couple of my buddies that were racing down there called and told me about this.
There is no leaders jersey available for the overall points leader. The CAT 4 that won the tt on Friday shows up to the road race on Saturday in a yellow/Race Leaders jersey that he had made!!!!! I guess it had his club name/race name on it and everything.
I was for sure my friends were pulling my leg. This was too good to be true!!!!
This is seriously one of the funniest things I have ever heard happen at race.

Seems like one of those things that if it were a joke, it would be pretty funny, but you can't really tell if it's a joke or not, so you don't really know how to react.

Definitely not a joke from what I heard. It wasn't like he wrote on a yellow t-shirt with Sharpies.
I am still laughing. Every time I think about it, I still question if my friends were screwing with me. Unfortunately they are not. LOL. Or should I say, fortunately they are not joking.

Superweek and TOAD are both omniums and have a leader's jersey.
Cat5 --> Cat4 --> P-R-O. Just skip the cat3/cat2/cat1 fields; we all know that's how it works, anyway.
