And another thanks. Perhaps mine is a 90 or a 92 as it is not a two tone, but just blue. All Suntour with trigger shifters, and I’m thinking it has a 50-40-30 front chainring setup. I posted serial number years ago and thought I concluded 91, but obviously not. Superset 2 lugged frame though. A nice city bike.

WV is not flat..
Thanks for the catalog shots Bianchigirll. I just picked up this Boardwalk for almost nothing ($15). It looks to have had a rough life so far, but should turn out pretty well. This is as purchased today. Not sure how they were staying on the seat like that.

Would you be able to help me out with the '91 Grizzly page? I have the frame and would love to know what components were originally installed. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the quick response. Something i noticed straight off, my frame has the same decals but the frame is the bianchi green. I wonder if it was repainted at some point as i dont see it as a color option.

Before we go any further, let's examine the serial number, to try to determine the actual model year. Also, are you in the USA? Finally, some photos may help. Ignore the forum warning about a 10 post requirement. The photos will upload to a gallery album under your forum name, where members can view them.

1. The vast majority of forum members are USA based and several of these catalogues are from non-USA markets, whose modesls do not always align with those offered in the USA.
2. Several are only partial catalogues.
3. Some of the catalogues have been incorrectly identified for the model year.
4. Some year entries include a mix of catalogues.
Anybody using this collection for reference should proceed with caution.

1. A celeste colour option was added after the catalogue was printed.
2. A large retailer placed a custom order.
3. A manufacturing lot intended as a Pergrine was indavertently reconfigured as a Grizzly, after the painting stage..
4. A manufacturing lot intended as a Pergrine was purposely reconfigured as a Grzzlly, after the paint stage, due to changes in orders.
5. It's a repaint and/or redecal.
Unfortunately, this far after the fact, it can be hard to determine the actuality. Repaints can sometimes be detected by traces of original paint., but I'm not seeing that in the photos you submitted.

I appreciate you taking the time to share this information. I think ill take a piece of each scenario you hypothesized and create an interesting origin story for my frame. I am jealous of that Fuchsia Synthesis colorway!

‘91 Volpe?
I recently acquired a Volpe frame/fork and am trying to determine what year it’s from. Paint and logos look very similar to other frames from 1991. Anyone have a catalog scan to confirm?
