Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The Big Block also has some toe overlap, well at least in the smallest 46cm frame with 32mm tires. And that with short 165mm cranks and size 7.5 feet. The fact is, it's hard to find bikes with track geo that don't have some toe overlap, especially in the smaller frame sizes.

Toe overlap also doesn't matter at all in 99.99999% of real-world riding, but people are still on about it so *shrug*

It matters to me when I'm making a slow tight turn, and my toe contacts the tire if I'm not careful to drop my heel. This happens to me more than 0.00001% of the time and I believe that I live in the real world.

I mostly agree, Most spills are due to pedal strike while turning.
