1980’s Miyata Team 59cm beautiful condition!

Beautiful 59cm frame. Awesome red paint scheme. Full campy throughout. This bike is fast, but too large for me. Asking $700 w/ shipping available. Sorry for the lack of details.
I will upload more info this week. In the e meantime ask away

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

Oh wow! I've never been a big fan of Miyatas, but that looks great. Too bad that it overlaps with my Fuji Design Series, but I bet it rides just as nice.

Yeah, thanks. I've spent way too much time on that puppetry site. Curious if this is the 58cm, or the 60cm. Hard to tell from the photo.

Cool! I think I can make this bike fit w/ a shorter stem. It’s so light and the group feels ultra tight. Like a Rolex on wheels. I’d like to make it work, but I’d rather sell it.

I hear you. That long stem with the shorter top tube will be just right for me. Now, I just gotta justify buying another bike. That's the hard part.

Great job on the photos, man. Do you have info on the build? You build it up from a frame?

Can you retake some of the photos and clamp the bike on the seat post. Clamping the tube freaked me out. 😬

Lol. It took longer than I expected for someone to mention this! Here are some pics w/ the tube protector removed. I’ll get a full build list worked up this week. I apologize for it taking so long. I am unfamiliar with Campagnolo parts.

I bought this and another bike, along with a bunch of tools and 4 wheel sets from a guy who was a semi-pro cyclist and tried out for the 1984 Olympics. I don’t know many of the details other than he didn’t end up competing.

the Miyata was his official “Olympic era” bike. He said it was Miyatas across the board for the whole team. Which team this was, I’m not sure.

The Oschner was his more used bike which he did semi pro races with.

I’ve disassembled the Miyata, relubed and replaced consumables. The components are original, just cleaned and lubed.

As a side note: the paint on the Oschner is not the greatest factory quality, but the metal itself is very shines chrome!

People sleep on Oschner. They made some nice bikes.
