I'd think that a scam based on what RandomDesign posted. I've never gotten anything from Shimano about a contest and I'm on their lists...... or so I thought. Maybe they decided I'm too much trouble! <grin>

Yes, I got permission to buy a $100 book.
But….
The most recent one sold on eBay went “Buy it now” for $165 and the rest on offer are listed much higher.
Not bad for a just a book.
