Not mine^^^ but I thought worth posting. (I'm learning how to paste cl ads in this thread. A lot of repeats but every now and then a nice bike pops up.

Just went on eBay as well. I'm watching it to see if it drops. Full 531 frame with decent components for $260 is a no-brainer. Add on that CB is a really well-known name in the classic frame builder world. Very high quality craftsmanship, although the bike for sale isn't exactly a fine example of some of the over-the-top work.

Some one has to say it: Is that fork bent? Looks like some deformation on the underside of the down tube also.

Of course someone has to say it. Although they don't know for sure, and really should stop with that nonsense.

If they were NO signs of it I would agree. But when it appears questionable and there is evidence of possible front end damage, such as the questionable spot on the down tube, I really think it SHOULD be said so that a potential buyer doesn't blindly purchase it.

Claud Butler - King of Lightweights

Good place to start, long-time marquee name.

That is indeed a nice bike, studying it some and probably slightly too large for me too.

Terrot frame, $200; one might have to replace or install the bottom bracket on this. It would be a project. Lugs have a bit of that Peugeot Mexican pyramid design to them on the head tube. Interesting.

"Very rare TERROT bike frame and front forks

Have some original and some not original parts"

-------------

Nice head badge, that said, someone was selling a complete Terrot out in Seattle for $150 or something. So, I'd like to know more about what is up with this Terrot.

Terrot was one of the old time French bikemakers.

There is a website, I believe called allposters.com and you can find tons of posters of the old French bike makers. And many others as well.

ParkPre Sport Ltd MTB, 26in, with suspension fork, $160

No pics in the ad.

================

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/bik/6195056364.html
Parkpre Sports Ltd: Frame size 20", Crank bolt to top of seattube. I am 5'6" and it feels a bit large and stretched out, for me, which I don't mind, for spirited riding on pavement.

The toptube is not as long as other bikes in this size, which I think is an asset. It's a decent red, the usual scratches, mostly from storage.. Low miles, with tires that roll quietly on pavement, but offer some grip, for occasional off-road exploring. 26x2" roll efficiently, but offer enough comfort and stability for commuting. It has a modest, suspension fork, with about 40MM of travel. Not enough for real mountainbiking, but takes the edge off paved imperfections. Handlebars do not have any rise, for a more roadbike position, which I prefer. Regular pedals and a few saddles to choose from, including a female specific gel.

Quick-release front and rear wheels, bottle cage, and 21-speed Shimano fingertip shifting.

No pics, but could Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts, Skipe, or Face Time it for you. Please send a phone # with your email, otherwise.

Thanks for reading!
