Another falls to the dark side - a road bike with disc brakes.

Congrats on the new bike!

Congrats. Very nice looking bike. How does it ride? When are you getting it dirty?

I am not running cross with the bike but, this is my gravel/adventure bike. Hence the saddle bag which will be swapped out for Relevate De signs Pika bag when it comes in.

Points for effort, on a stand, but the obligatory white garage door and from the drive side. Well done, sir, well done. Congratulations on the new addition to your family.

So, will we be getting a ride report from the Dirty Kanza next year?

Scheduled to ride Land Run 100 in March and 4 50 mile gravel rides in late March and April.

Dirty Kanza is a 200 mile ride in some very rough Kansas prairie land not sure if I can do that but, it is a goal.

Last years winner, a local, did it in less than 12 hours.

Best of luck on those events, looks like you chose a good bicycle for your rides there. I read the report on the last two Dirty Kanza races in RBA, sounds like a real eye poker of a race, to me. Neil Shirley, the RBA assistant editor, entered, but he sheared off his RD, early in the event, and it took him nearly the time limit to finish in, one gear. But for a spare RD hnager....

So far I like the disc brakes. It is going to be interesting to see how they hold up in the gravel.
