SPD clip or clipless?
Hello is this a clippless pedal ? Do I need new pedals to attach my Shimano shoe or can I buy a certain attachment?

Looks like you have SPD shoes and SPD pedals. You are good to go.
Just take those bolts off the front of the shoes unless you want your wife raining hell on you for scraping up the floor!

I tried to push as hard as I could and they won’t snap in , is there something wrong ? Should I remove the bolts before cycling ?

You have to tighten the cleats.If they're loose this is what happens.

Got them off . Tightened them but Its still just as thought to get them out and had to pry it off a second time . Is there a way To make this easier and disconnect easier ??

The blot with the +…- mark increases/decreases the pedal tension on how easy it is to unclip. That said, I find you need a pretty quick and decisive heel flick outward to release SPDs.

Are you trying to separate the shoe and pedal before installing on the bike? It takes quite a bit of force to free the shoe, like your 'massive' legs provides

Mount pedal on bike and try it. Adjust the hex (allen) screw as needed.
The bolts under the toe of the shoe are for traction in cyclocross riding/running.

If you're new to SPD's you may not be aware that you have to twist the heel of the shoe outwards to release it. I believe you can now get SPD cleats that can be released by pulling straight up but, honestly, if you start using them you'll quickly get used to that twist and release action.

Yes, we all know the 51 releases to the side by twisting your heel out. No, the 56 does NOT release 'up'...it's up and to the side.
