Norwalk Station to Whittier Narrows Park.
Planning trip in April taking my bike on the Metrolink to Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs. Planning to take a fixed gear bike, and I am not super comfortable riding the fixie on streets. I have found what seems to be a good route, possibly the best route to get to the SGR bike trail from there. Attached is my RWGPS. Waddaya think? (Out and back.)
Oops. Been away from BF for a long time, and can't post links, so here is the cue sheet version.
From station turn left on Imperial Highway toward Bloomfield.
Immediately turn into Imperial Square Office Park to cut through to Bloomfield.
North on Bloomfield to Los Nietos.
Left on Los Nietos to Pioneer.
Left on Pioneer to Mersin-1 short block.
Right on Mersin to enter SGR trail at cul-de-sac.
BTW, ultimate destination Whittier Narrows Park.

I would hop onto the SGRT sooner from Norwalk, take SGRT all the way to Durfee and hop into the park from Durfee or Santa Anita
