For upcoming LA trip I am thinking that taking the Habanero may be a hassle, so I am exploring rental options. One of the choices is Cannondale CAAD (aluminum) or Synapse (crabon fiber), the geometry looks similar so I am inclined to go with the less expensive CAAD with 105. I may need to bring a shirt up-sloping stem to get fit rea

Comments on CAAD vs Synapse??

Today I arrived at the office about 8:00 am to prepare for court. Drove an hour for my hearing at 1:00. Got back to the office about 4:00. Skipped breakfast and lunch, and had no snacks, basically just one Diet Coke driving back from court and water all day. Decided to go for a ride when I got home. It was not pretty.

His comment at that time was maybe I just couldn't ride like that anymore.

I've had the irregular heartbeat and other symptoms. When I saw the cardiologist he wasn't convinced there was anything wrong but when I told him I sometimes feel awful after a hard ride where I chase people he decided to order the test.

Nope, never wore one. I was hoping the cardiologist could shed some light on it without going any further. We'll see.

Recently there was a question about tire levers. I can't find the posts. Does anyone have a recommendation? TIA

I need to call tomorrow for a cardio checkup.
been a few years since my last echo and stress test. I used to have to get them every year for the HCM.
nothing new, I just like to do it around my bday, which happens to be today.
only thing different since previous is that my FTP is worse. Maybe I get PVCs a few percent more (which wasn’t much to begin with).

I do hundreds of flat repairs at the bike shop with cheap generic levers. I do occasionally break one.

Pokemon again... including my first-ever full success on WorLdle with zero crib sheeting, and only even missing the first two flag guesses. Everything else perfect.

Maybe they forgot where they left it. We had a van towed in for a no start. I diagnosed it and the writer tried to call the customer and the number he gave us was wrong. He was so drunk he gave the wrong phone number and couldn't remember where he had it towed. Couldn't remember having it towed. After more than 2 weeks of calling shops he found it at our place. Came down and had it towed out and refused to pay anything.

Message of the day, so far:
"Doctor, my husband has been sick the past 2 days with fevers and a little cough. He also has some body aches. Can we bring him in to get checked?"
"Did you test him for COVID?"
"No, should we?"
"Yes."
------15 minutes later
"Doctor, his test was positive."
I would have hoped by now that anyone with an illness knows to test for covid, but obviously not.
p.s. just say NO to Paxlovid, with rare exceptions.

Ya'll don't just use screwdrivers to get the tires on and off?
