Can someone confirm Shimano R7000 chainring bolt torque spec?
Can someone confirm the Shimano R7000 chainring bolt torque spec for me? I知 replacing a front ring. I知 thinking it is something like 12-14NM. Also, is anti-seize required on the bolts, or will plain old Park Tool Grease Suffice? Thanks!

Anti seize is a good application for non moving assemblies, grease for moving parts. having said that grease is FAR better then nothing and fine in most cases.
The classic way to determine proper tightness is to ride the bike for a few miles and recheck the fastener. Of course if you have carbon ring bolts... Andy

I apply Tef-Gel to only the male threads after cleaning the nuts/bolts and mating surfaces.
