73 Raleigh RRA-only 1 Picture from Sheldonbrown.com none of the one he has

https://boise.craigslist.org/bik/2784979818.html

Hi I have a Mint Condition RALEIGH RRA -this is probably the rarest Raleigh from the 70s as these bikes were actually raced in the Tour de France and only made for 1 year.
As much as I love the bike I would like to trade it for something newer either a carbon Road Bike or a Carbon 29er. This is a true Collector's bike.

The component group is the vaunted SIMPLEX Super LJ all stainless and alloy with Stronglight cranks. Regina cassette-all the bells and whistles. It was also the only year to feature the Weinman side pull brakes in black. The bike was completely restored by California Cycle Art-these are the same guys that painted the bikes for Masi and Confente back in the day, wonderful stuff. I purchased the bike from a man in California whose brother raced the bike in the 70s. This makes me technically the 3rd owner in almost 40 years.

Size 55X55

If you have the cash and want to buy it out right make me an offer. (208) 860-7196

Serious buyers and inquires only please. Respond via email and I will get back to you with pics.

Here is a link about the bike on Sheldon Browns website. See white race bike at bottom of page, mine is in better condition. Thanks

Italian and Brit steel on eBaY and Simplex forkend frame

A French frame with what looks like a fake Reynolds decal and real ones which can probably be searched "1710gr" and Saronni Colnago and a bunch of Treviso's, as well as a Mink Raleigh, mebbe two Mink Raleighs. Not that I like eBaY with its customer no-service.
Duueuwde if you're going to put my quick replies out of context, maybe I could make it germane by admitting I am looking for one of those, preferably a consistent meter or two faster.

Custom Land Shark Road bike/ All Dura-ace - $900 (Hidden Springs)

    Date: 2011-09-03, 9:47AM MDT
Reply to: sale-cfgwm-2580139510@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
I am 6"3 and I purchased from a 6"2 rider in Bend, Oregon. The man I bought it from just got a new cervello. I don't know anything about this bike other than the components are all Dura-ace, has a italia gel flow seat/ says alpha on bar below seat, and it says kris king under the stem. I enjoyed for one season but just don't ride anymore.

I took it to bobs bicycles at beginning of this season and paid 100 dollars for a full tune plus 50 for a new light weight chain. I've only taken around the dump loop twice. Kyle from Bend showed me a build sheet of almost 5500 and I paid 1400. This will be a great deal for somebody. Please don't ask me measurements and such because I don't know where to measure from. Bike is blue and silver. I also got the bars re-wrapped while tune up was done. Have a cat eye wireless speedometer/mileage mounted too. The front forks and back forks say something decaudici less than zero. Handle bars have a B on them. I am clearly not a rider. I was just looking for something that wouldn't hurt my knees. I'm selling cheap as I want to buy some volkl mantras for the ski season and mama is cutting me off.

    208 514-5113

A nice Landshark. (Note that should be "Dedacciai" tubing not "decaudici.")

C.H. notes: sounds like an '88 400T "sports touring" bike. The 400T came with the triple chainring. From the area code and exchange it sounds like it's in the Yonkers area.

Teal Trek 400 road bike in excellent condition. Oval-tech Triple chain-ring with downtube shifters (18 speeds). Fits someone around 5'8 to 5'10.

Matrix rims, Maillard 500 hubs, Shimano Deore derailleur. All original- has been used maybe 5 times since purchased. Works well, just needs wheels trued to roll smoothly.

Very nice 60's or 70's Puch Waffenrad. This bike was made in Austria and has a bit of a cult following. Wonderful condition. Great fun to ride!

Front rod break (does not work very well but looks super cool)
Coaster break.
Beautiful lug construction
Painted and pinstriped wheels.

That had be scratching my head too. NOT good marketing telling how much you paid for something when trying to flip it. I like the guy who is trying to sell or barter his 89 Cannondale, his $1500 bike, listing no selling price, dirty from storage and needs tires, make an offer. I should offer him a 1989 Macintosh Computer worth $2500 (in 1989) and see if he bites!

I am not Peugeot expert but somehow I doubt this is a '73. looks nice but I agree seller has a loose cotter nut or two

This is rear 1973 Peugeot Triahtlon. It comes with another rear part Shimano BioPace non-cirular chain rings. Size about 52-54cm which suit rider 5'6"-6'0".

I got it last spring for $200, put in brand new tires and pedals. Asking $300, must be able to pick up in South Tampa.

Frame pump, bottle cages and saddle bag not included.

Wow.

Wolf ears indicate that it's '57 - '62ish?

Glad that it's not my size, or I'd probably do something stupid....
