And yet one more for a tall person. Seller doesn't seem to even know it's a Cannondale.

Vintage Miyata 310 12 sp. Racing bike - $15 (Galt)
I wonder the seller meant 150 not 15. The seller has other lower-end bikes on sale as well.

I am having the same issue with 53/54 cm bikes. A couple of years ago, I was seriously looking for a bike and there were not many of that size that I was interested in. It seems like since spring of covid there have been a plethora of very fine bikes available in that size category, including some fantastic buys. I am not in the market, so I guess I should quit looking. Or maybe sell off a few and get something different, which I do not need to do. At this point, I am trying to stick to needs instead of wants. Of course, sometimes that line gets pretty fuzzy and mentally confusing. ;
Bikes are okay, I guess.

The decal seems wrong for a '79, but this looks like a nice bike. Repaint??
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...409268538.html
Circa 1979 Trek 930 with high end early 80's components in very good condition. Top of the line Trek frame with Columbus SL/SP tubing and beautifully filed silver brazed long point lugs. Suntour Superbe derailleurs, brake levers, and pedals, Sugino Aero Mighty crankset and bottom bracket, Gran Compe brakes, Campagnolo shifters and seat post, San Marco Concor saddle, Cinelli stem and bars, Mavic rims and hubs. Frame was repainted at some point by D&D Frame Services (I believe they do at least some of paint for Rivendell) and an extra set of water bottle braze-ons were added. Maybe shifter braze-ons as well. Paint job is pretty nice including what appears to be painted on Trek logo but some small chips and one area of missing paint behind crank on chain stay (see pics). Continental 23mm GP 4000s on front is new. Older Bontrager Racelite on rear. $475 or best offer.

Yep. They say it in the middle of their ad. Interesting that they say it is a painted on “decal”.

It is starting to feel like "Land of the Giants" in here. I see a lot more extra-tall bikes on this thread than I ever do on the road. Mostly from the coasts, I've noticed. Is the force of gravity lower out there?

Didn't mean to point it out other than the decal is supposedly a painted marquee. Odd that they didn't get original decals for such a restoration.
It is honestly not a very good paint job in my opinion for professionals.
